Duck-2012

Madeline and Aunt Lanie taking out the sea kayak.  Madeline has so many special memories with Aunt Lanie.  She is truly a joy and great blessing to our children.  Madeline adores her and I could not think of another adult I would rather her adore.

Our summer trip to Duck was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.  We went with the James', and Campbells', and Kemps'.  Amongst us all, there were 8 kids, and 3 of them were 1 or under.  Madeline and Ryan were the oldest, followed by Dawson, Audrey, and Matthew.  What an amazing week we had.  The fellowship was beyond wonderful, the food was incredible (way too much Blue Bunny Ice Cream was consumed), the weather was gorgeous, and the house was the most awesome house we have and ever will stay in (thanks Kemps!).  We had great time with the kids, and then once the kids were in bed at night, we pulled out the games and began to play. . .just like old times before we had kids (however we only made it til midnight or 1).

Can you tell that the poolside basketball hoop was one of Ryan's favorite things???

Movie Time!  The house had an elevator and an awesome movie room.  Here's Madeline with Dawson and Audrey.

Our beautiful girl who is getting big way too fast.

Our precious baby, who had a bit of a reaction to the sunscreen.

So beautiful. . .inside and outside!

Look at that handsome boy. . .he's missing a couple teeth!

This girl LOVES the beach.  She loves the sands and even more, loves having the waves crash over her.  It was a joy for all of us to watch her experience the beach.

I could eat him, he's so cute!

Uncle Bobby and Ry.  Like Madeline adores Aunt Lanie, Ryan adores Uncle Bobby.  He's like his second dad.  And Bobby so sweetly pours into Ry, and makes time for him.  We are blessed by the James' friendship and their investment in our children.
