| Where oh where have the years gone. How can our precious first-born almost be in double digits. This little girl is truly amazing. She is smart and funny. She works hard and is so diligent in her school work. She perseveres when things are hard and she does not "get" them the first time. And she has the sweetest, most tender spirit. And what joy she brings to everything. I am so proud to be her mommy. Here she is opening a jewelry box. |

| It's a candy party for Madeline's birthday. We have balloons hanging that are outfitted to look like candies, we have "Hershey kisses" adorning the table that are really rice krispie treats. We are making candy necklaces, candy cane wreaths, and decorating picture frames. It was an AWESOME time. |
