Game Face

Matt has taught Ryan "game face".  When we tell Ry, "game face, Ry", this is the face he makes.  It cracks me up.  I'm so impressed that Matt thought to teach him this!

Okay, another funny thing Daddy has taught Ry.  You start with a mad or sad face.  You then vertically draw your hand down your face, and as your hand passes over your face, your expression changes from  sad/mad to happy.  See below for the result of the vertical hand pass.
So stinking funny!!!

Celebrating Jesus

What, your Easter basket was hidden in the oven???  What crazy parent would have done that?

You may not be able to tell here, but Ryan really does like candy.  The boy was so funny searching for his basket.  He does not quite get the "hot/cold" thing yet.
After church, we headed to the cul de sac for our annual pot luck and egg hunt.  Here's Ry, just chillin'.

Our Madely swinging high in the air.  Check out the crazy hair.

The cul de sac girls.  Madeline, Allie, and Kailyn.  They band together since they are completely outnumbered!!!

Ry's on the hunt.

Madeline takes her time searching for eggs.  I love her sweet, tender, distracted spirit.

Coloring Eggs

Friday night was egg coloring night at the Wells' home.

Of course, General Bodyguard's favorite egg was his Carolina Blue one.
Our sweet Madeley, posing with an egg.
Daddy patiently holds his egg in the cup. . .he was the only one daring enough to go 2 tone with an egg.
Do colored eggs taste better than regular hard boiled eggs. . .no, but don't tell the kids that.  As soon as they were done coloring the eggs, they wanted to eat one.  General Bodyguard, of course, had yolk all down his sleeves, and Bobo had a wonderful time licking it off.

This weekend, Daddy took Madeline on a date to Bojangles while Mommy and Ry went on a walk and played baseball.  It's so sweet to have this one on one time with each child.

Jesus, thank you for today.  Thank you for your death on the cross, your rising up from death, and the gift of eternal life you hold out to us all.  Thank you Jesus, for bring me from death unto life.  Praise you, God, on this Resurrection Day.

General Bodyguard

If you attempt to call Ryan, "Ryan", he will promptly advise you that his name is NOT "Ryan" and that he is to be called "General Bodyguard".  He and Daddy play starwars legos on the wii and General Grevious (I have no idea how to spell this) has a bodyguard.  Ryan named the bodyguard, General Bodyguard, and he in fact is, General Bodyguard.  It's cute and a pain, especially since he won't write his name as Ryan or enter it in computer or leapster games.  General Bodyguard has a lot more letters than Ryan, and takes a long time for Mommy to spell out. :)  Our silly, silly, determined boy.

Shamrock Shakes

Easter Festivities

Back to blogging???. . .I'm not sure, but the Ryline Academy is on Spring Break, so I thought I would give it a try.
These 2 pics are from our Sunday night Bible Study.  This week, like most weeks, Ryan, Ty, and Ben remove their shirts after Bible study and begin to wrestle.  They wrestle so hard that they are both sweating within 10 minutes.  It is fun to watch the intensity between Ry and Ty, and it is precious to see little Ben join them.

Saturday morning we ventured out to the Bond Park Egg Hunt.  The kids had so much fun, and we enjoyed watching them.  I laughed as Matt veered them toward all the marshmallow eggs. . .his favorites.

Our Beautiful Girl.

My babies.  Look how cute Madeline is with her front, bottom tooth out.

The many funny faces of Ry.  He cracks us up.

Checking out their loot.
Our fam.  Love it (even though we're all squinting)!!!
